MAKEIO CO., LTD.

Area Manager / Supervisor (ผู้จัดการเขต) – Entertainment Venues

Look after daily operations, staff, service quality and sales across our entertainment venues in Bangkok and upcountry, and coach Store Managers to run their stores on their own.

Key responsibilities

  • Daily operations and problem solving: Look after daily operations at our Bangkok branches (on site) and upcountry branches (remote follow-up and quarterly visits). Handle issues such as accidents, cash differences, broken equipment and maintenance needs until they are solved. Look for the real cause of each problem and improve our work processes, rules and service so the same problem does not happen again.
  • People management: Plan staff schedules so every branch has enough people at busy times, while keeping staff costs at a healthy level compared to sales. Check attendance, leave, late arrivals and working hours in the Time Attendance system so payroll is correct. Train, guide and support Store Managers so they grow with confidence and take ownership of their stores.
  • Quality, service and cleanliness checks: Visit and check branches regularly, record what you find, and work with the team to fix any issues.
  • Sales and promotions: Follow sales, number of tickets sold, average spending per customer and best-selling products. Find areas to improve and follow up with each branch. Make sure promotions and campaigns run correctly at every branch, and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
  • Working with other teams: Be the link between the branches and head office. Work with mall management and our Maintenance, Marketing and Project teams on branch operations, mall rules and events.

Who we're looking for

  • Experience: At least 2 years managing multiple branches in entertainment, food and beverage, retail or hospitality, with a stable work history.
  • Leadership style: A hands-on leader who enjoys working on the floor with the team and has experience developing store managers.
  • Problem solving: Solves problems in a clear, step-by-step way. Finds the real cause and sets up a lasting fix, rather than only solving the problem on the surface.
  • Skills: Good understanding of staff scheduling and store quality, service and cleanliness standards.
  • Computer skills (required): Comfortable using a computer, with good skills in Google Sheets (tracking data, basic formulas) and Canva (making reports).
  • Education and nationality: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Thai nationality with good communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Good English (a big plus).
  • Experience in arcades or family entertainment.
  • Experience with POS (cashier) systems.

What success looks like

  • Branches pass quality, service and cleanliness checks every time.
  • Staff schedules are well planned, with a healthy staff cost and no ongoing staff shortages.
  • The same problems do not keep coming back.
  • Store Managers can run their stores on their own quickly and see you as a coach they trust.
